ABOUT USStephen Chong is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Stephen T. Chong. Mr. Chong has been practicing law since 2008 and has always been most interested in issues that impact families. He focuses his practice on representing clients in the realms of estate planning, probate court and juvenile dependency court. Mr. Chong is most fulfilled when helping clients manage the difficult life situations that arise in these areas of law.
Mr. Chong loves being an active part of both the legal community and the general community. He is an active member of the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers, the Alameda County Bar Association - Trusts and Estates Section , and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area. He also has volunteered to assist varying groups of people including local youth, the homeless community, and the transgender community. Currently, you can find Mr. Chong volunteering at the Guardianship Clinic at the Berkeley Courthouse and working as co-coordinator of the APILO/AABA Pro Bono Clinic in Oakland. Mr. Chong is proud to have received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco and his B.A. degrees in both English and Communications from the University of California-Davis. Mr. Chong's interests include reading about the Supreme Court, the 49ers, chess, drawing, staying active, and fantasizing about living in Peru. |
